Aug 19, 2021 · Even the 'superior' and more expensive Switch OLED is going for a 7" screen, which incidentally, is only going to have 1280 x 720 (= 921,600) pixels, whereas the Steam Deck's 7" screen will have 1280 x 800 (= 1,024,000) pixels. Still the Switch OLED will have better colors (because of that acronym for the display: OLED ofc).

The Go screen is GORGEOUS (maybe it’s oversaturated but oh well) and it makes me Steam Deck and Ally look tiny in comparison. The rest of it is pretty bulky but I would love a vibrant 8 inch screen in slightly smaller form factor to be perfect.

Oct 27, 2022 · I got 3DS games up and running on my Steam Deck, but the only problem now is that the bottom screen is insanely small, to the point that I can't read any text on screen. I know that you can adjust on the DS, but that's a Retroarch feature IIRC, and I don't think the 3DS is compatible with that solution.

Also 4:3 games are bigger because if that. And thats great. If you have a problem with the bessels i can't help you. Im fine with it.
