Visit England’s second oldest Cathedral. Rochester Cathedral was founded in AD 604. Every year we welcome thousands of visitors and worshippers through our doors. Opening Hours 10am – 4pm Monday – Saturday 1pm – 3pm Sunday (Crypt Café and Exhibition closed all day) On occasion, Rochester Cathedral is closed for large events or services.
Draco Roffensis — Rochester Cathedral
Draco Roffensis: The Rochester Dragon has been inspired by illuminated artwork found within the pages of Textus Roffensis. The dragon will take flight at the Cathedral from June 1st to September 21st. Draco Roffensis has been designed by celebrated artist Wendy Daws.
