You're Xfi Gateway can have a battery but a Battery Backup can be purchased for your Xfinity Voice modem to provide additional hours of service during a power outage. So if you have not purchased a back up battery then you just need to unplug the modem from the power to cycle it.

Jan 19, 2021 · 4 years ago. When I click on voice in my xfinity app it only takes me to "Your Xfinity Voice" and the options are "Voice and Data Modem" or "Outage Map." There is nothing on the main page or under voice where the term "activate" comes into play. I think ours is already activated. Xfinity was supposed to call me but they never did.

Now, tv pixelates every 30-45 seconds and lasts several seconds so you miss what you’re watching. Spent 35 minutes with their robot on their app. No solution.
