Sara Hilary Haines [1] (born September 18, 1977) [2] is an American television host and journalist. She is known as one of the co-hosts of the ABC daytime talk shows The View and Strahan, Sara and Keke and the host of the game show The Chase .

Sara Haines is a co-host of ABC's Emmy® Award-winning daytime talk show "The View" and correspondent on ABC's hidden camera show "What Would You Do?," which returns for season 17 this fall. Haines originally served as co-host of "The View" in 2016 through 2018 for seasons 20 and 21, returning to the panel in 2020 for season 24.
