This is probably key to the change. Guess can lay the blame squarely at BT. Seems strange though that the maps app on both machines pick up my correct location!

(350Mbps, 370/380 avg. but sometimes I get 400Mbps @ 50MB/s), downloading a test 1GB file at 50MB/s.)

Mar 9, 2021 · My previous router was dying. I bought an Asus RT-AX3000, had the problem with lower lan speed than ususal. I normally get 462 mbps (I'm in a Spectrum "extreme" area). I called Asus tech support, they were saying I would need to send it in for repair. Spectrum set up a new modem. If we connected my pc directly to the modem, no problem.
