Mike Tomlin was named the 16th head coach in Pittsburgh Steelers history on January 22, 2007. Hired at the age of 34, Tomlin became only the third head coach hired by the Steelers since 1969.

Since joining the Steelers in 2015, kicker Chris Boswell is 202-of-234 overall on field goal attempts (86.3%), including 90-of-115 (78.3%) from 40 yards or longer.

Apr 20, 2021 · Tomlin, who was hired in 2007, will enter his 15th season with the team in 2021 and is only the third Steelers head coach since the 1969 season, joining Hall of Famers Chuck Noll (1969-91) and Bill Cowher (1992-2006) during that time frame.

Scott McCurley is in his first season as the Steelers' inside linebackers coach in 2025. McCurley most recently served as the linebackers coach for the Dallas Cowboys for five seasons (2020-24).

Sep 4, 2024 · Week 1 Coach of the Week honors go to Coach Trevor George from the Class 1A Riverview Raiders after upsetting the Class 3A Valley Vikings, 38-36, in the nonconference matchup. The Raiders defense held off the Vikings 2-point conversion to force overtime. The win takes the Riverview Raiders to an 1-0 overall record to kickoff the season.
