The first photo is DSLR and the second one is iPhone 15 Pro. The DSLR is 10 years old since its release, but I still think it outperforms iPhone. It’s just difficult to compare a big camera lens and a small iPhone lens. I think the shadows look much nicer on the DSLR and color maybe on iPhone, but I think DSLR outperforms in colors also.

However, just like you wouldn't buy a new phone just to use as a webcam, I don't think most people are going out and buying DSLRs for webcam use. If you happen to already have a DSLR, the quality difference between a phone camera lens and a proper camera lens is massive. EDIT 3: be aware that most of these utilities output at 1024x576.

Feb 16, 2022 · UVC-based video devices are not supported currently with most Android devices, but a few perhaps, like the Yolobox, may support it. If not, screen-sharing is an option to make it work, where you can load up an app that does support UVC/USB cameras, and simply screen share that output to VDO.Ninja using the native Android app.

The a6000 is the more modern and current mirrorless style of camera, that uses an electronic viewfinder. Almost the entire industry has shifted to this type of camera by now.
