Mar 10, 2021 · Fives level of Ranger followed X levels of Rogue. Starting as a Gloomstalker and taking the Alert feat is arguably the best way to "fix" the Assassin subclass. Switch from hunter to gloom stalker, and take 5 levels in ranger first. Assassin + Gloom Stalker is IMO the strongest combination of Ranger/Rogue in the game.
