CASA volunteers build special relationships with children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect and are under court protection. They visit them regularly and advocate on their behalf in monthly reports to the judge.

CASA volunteers help change a child’s story that has experienced abuse and/or neglect who are under court protection. Volunteers: Spend regular, quality time getting to know their assigned child. Are supported and supervised by CASA team members and work alongside everyone involved in the case.

Your support helps to provide caring CASA volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect under court protection in Brown County, many of whom are living in foster care.

Active Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers who have completed additional training help to implement this program. In 2023, 45 youth participated in our Fostering Futures program, developing skills and setting goals to help transition successfully to independence.
