Oct 11, 2015 · The fight itself is really underwhelming. It's almost like a ceadeus fight on land. It pretty much only shoots projectiles and charges straight at you with it's giant body wich results in a lot running and/or panic diving.

Oct 13, 2014 · Every thread I read that's even remotely related to MH4G/U, I inevitably see someone who would be absolutely THRILLED to see Amatsu in the game. Why is that? You guys seem to like him almost as much as you like Zinogre, which is saying something.

Apr 23, 2023 · Ridiculous stomp for Rayquaza to my knowledge, but the fight sounds extremely cool even if I think Bahamut from Final Fantasy is Rayquaza's best. But hey, its a Monster Hunter matchup I actually like!

Jun 20, 2023 · It's definitely in-between. It hits pretty hard, on par with most Afflicted monsters, but it's definitely survivable. My only gripe with it is that they didn't keep the original name, Amatsumagatsuchi. It's longer, but it's so satisfying to say.

Storms it creates seem to be stronger with what Ibushi does along with Ibushi’s strongest non-wind feat being magnetism to lift up boulders, and Amatsu thrives in areas with high wind. Amatsu just kinda does Ibushi’s gimmick but stronger. Much stronger. To such a degree that imo people heavily underestimate Amatsu’s destructive potential.
