Ensure the dock is powered if it has a power input. Connect the Steam Deck Plug your Steam Deck into the dock or hub via its USB-C port. The monitor should automatically detect the Steam Deck as a source.

Aug 27, 2021 · It's possible, but you'd likely have to build the display + mounting kit yourself. Also the battery life isn't gonna be that great to begin with so maybe not the best idea. Maybe the mount could have an extra battery built in to counteract the power drain from the extra monitor?

There will be some limitations in regards to resolution and refresh rates for the connected displays depending on how many displays are being connected.

Oct 4, 2023 · Try setting up a connection between your Steam Deck and your monitor/TV. Note that the Steam Deck does not have an HDMI connection, only USB. You might not have thought it possible at first, but the Steam Deck can connect to an external monitor quite easily.

I would love this. Especially if the bottom of the screen housing just had a usb-c sticking out of the bottom and it clicked in with no cables. Then the back of the screen housing can have a built in usb-c hub. Go one step further and make the screen fold down over the Steam deck screen, like a DS. I would instabuy.
