Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was set to undergo a medical with Paris Saint-Germain on Friday ahead of his expected transfer to the 12-time French champions.

Kvaratskhelia joined Napoli in a €13.3m transfer from Dinamo Batumi in the summer of 2022. He was voted Serie A 's most valuable player in 2022-23 after he scored 12 goals and set up 13 more in 34 league games in his first campaign to help the club win its first Scudetto in 33 years.

Kvaratskhelia joined Napoli for €10m in July 2022 and during his time with the Partenopei, won a rare Serie A title for the club in a season in which he was crowned the league's Player of the Season and also holds the record for the most Serie A Player of the Month award wins with four.

Paris St-Germain have signed Napoli forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia until June 2029. The Georgia international, who was linked with Liverpool and Chelsea,, external asked to leave Serie A leaders Napoli last week after failing to agree a contract extension.
