It has been many years since we last heard anything about a new Bloodborne game, despite there clearly being demand for one.

And is that after its release in 2015, and its subsequent expansion, The Old Hunters, if it has come to be considered a new installment, a PC version, or a remastering, none of them has come to see the light. Yoshida is clear about why this is, but also specifies that this is only his opinion, not an absolute certainty.

Sony has had no problem remastering games for PS5, whether that's Demon's Souls at launch or even The Last of Us: Part II Remastered last year.
