TERRY, Miss. (WTVA) — A shooting left a sheriff’s deputy dead in central Mississippi. The incident happened Sunday evening, Feb. 23 in Terry. Hinds County deputy Martin Shields, Jr., 37, responded to a domestic call at a house on Midway Road, WLBT-TV in Jackson reported. Eric Brown, 42, allegedly shot and killed the deputy.
