Bill Belichick is targeting longtime IMG Academy coach Billy Miller for a spot on his first staff at North Carolina, according to 247Sports. Miller would provide an immediate recruiting boost as Belichick prepares for his first-ever collegiate job.

While multiple teams, and Tom Brady specifically, try to lure Bill Belichick back to the NFL, the 72-year-old remains in Chapel Hill as the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels—and has plenty of work to do ahead of the 2025 season.

Now, someone new has popped up, and it's the national program head coach for IMG Academy, Billy Miller, who Belichick reportedly wants to find a spot for on his Tar Heels staff. If this were to happen, it wouldn't be Miller's first time with a college program as he was previously the special teams coach for Rutgers University.
