They have been saying all season that Trent Alexander-Arnold cannot wait to get out of a Liverpool shirt. And he certainly ripped it off here – but only after scoring the precious goal that took them to within one win of the Premier League title.

The England international has missed the past four games since limping out of last month's Champions League defeat to PSG.

Alexander-Arnold is expected to leave in the summer, having won everything there is to win with Liverpool and been tempted away by the challenge of playing for Real Madrid. But it's been reported that the England star's switch to the Spanish capital is not as inevitable as Liverpool winning the title.
