Cape Girardeau Polar Plunge raises more than $60k for Special Olympics Missouri
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The 19th annual Cape Polar Plunge was a success according to Special Olympics Missouri. Officials with the organization say the event raised more than $64,000. They say 165 men and women turned out in costumes to participate in the chilly dip in the lake at Cape County Park North.
