The new logo might be a subtle change from the previous logo at La Quinta Country Club, still using a roadrunner but having the bird coming out of a giant “Q”. The idea is to give the country club a separation from logos for the city of La Quinta or the nearby La Quinta Resort.

After two weeks in Hawaii, the PGA Tour is back in the continental United States to begin its five-week West Coast Swing. The 2025 American Express gets underway Thursday in La Quinta, California. There are 156 players in the field,

The American Express is unique on the PGA Tour. The tournament is played over three rounds and the cut doens't come till each golfer has played each of the three golf courses in once. On Saturday, there was a 54-hole cut that set the field for the final round.
