First Alert Weather: Not as cold as this weekend, but still chilly
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The overall calm weather for snow will continue. Chances for snow, over the next several days, will be low. Some lake effect snow cannot be ruled out on Wednesday, but our best chance for snow holds off until Friday. It’s too early to tell how much snow, but snowfall is currently trending light in our area with higher totals further south in Illinois and Indiana. We are going to cool off over the next couple days. Wednesday will be the coldest day this week with air temperatures topping out around 15°. Our coldest morning will be on Thursday morning with air temperatures between 0° to 5°. Sub-zero wind chills will absolutely be possible Thursday morning. Unlike the last couple days, however, we are not going to have NEARLY the wind this time around.Another round of snow will be possible this upcoming weekend, but it is way too early to tell any details beyond “there’s a chance,” so check back later this week for more details.
