Heat legend Dwyane Wade revealed on his podcast that he had nearly half of one of his kidneys removed because of a cancerous tumor. Wade said the procedure, which removed 40 percent of his kidney, was done in December 2023 after doctors discovered a tumor on his right kidney.
The Heat legend's tumor was only found after he underwent a full-body scan during his father's battle with prostate cancer.
