South Korean flight attendants caught taking photos while standing on plane wing - The members of cabin crew are currently under investigation

Two flight attendants for South Korean budget airline Eastar Jet are under investigation following an eyebrow-raising incident on the tarmac.

Three airline staff on an Eastar Jet Flight climbed out on to the left wing of a Boeing 737 while it was waiting to depart at Cheongju International Airport in South Korea

A local budget carrier has been mired in controversy as its crew members took photos on an aircraft wing while the plane was delayed due to heavy snow.

Eastar Jet Co. said Friday it was investigating a misconduct case involving a cabin crew's taking of personal photos on the wing of a company aircraft at a domestic airport this week. Several flight attendants of the airline were found to have taken personal photos after stepping out to the wing of a parked aircraft at Cheongju International Airport on Wednesday after opening the plane's overwing emergency exit door.

Yet, it seems Eastar Jet needs to get its staff in order after several of the South Korean airline's flight attendants were caught opening an emergency door and stepping out onto the wing of a commercial airline to pose for photographs.

They were winging it. An airline has launched an investigation into several flight attendants who were busted opening an emergency exit and posing for photos on an airplane wing. The shocking incident occurred last Wednesday at Cheongju International Airport in South Korea while Eastar Jet Flight 703 was delayed on the tarmac.

Eastar Jet said that a number of its stewardesses would be investigated after they clambered out of an emergency exit and onto the wing to pose for bizarre photos
