LaLiga strugglers Valencia sacked coach Ruben Baraja on Monday. Sunday's 2-2 draw against Alavés left Valencia second from bottom in LaLiga with just two wins and nine defeats from 17 games.

Valencia have named Carlos Corberan as head coach on a two-and-a-half year deal following the Spaniard's departure from West Bromwich Albion, the struggling LaLiga club said.

Valencia have sacked head coach Ruben Baraja after just two wins in 17 La Liga matches this season. Baraja, who played for the club between 2000 and 2010, returned in a managerial role in February 2023.
