New York City officials are using forensics and video surveillance to identify the woman who burned to death on a subway car in Brooklyn, while the man accused of lighting her on fire was indicted by a grand jury on state charges,

A suspect is in custody after the incident on an F train in Brooklyn on Sunday morning. Officers found a woman "fully engulfed in flames."

Police said an unknown male had approached the woman, set her on fire, and then left the subway car around 7:30 a.m.

The incident comes hours after a man was charged with murder after allegedly lighting a woman on fire on the subway last weekend

Prosecutors have indicted Guatemalan citizen Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, 33, for the alleged murder of an unknown woman on December 22, according to NBC News.
