MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A Miami-Dade sheriff’s deputy was arrested Friday after he was reportedly caught trying to smuggle drugs onto a cruise ship by hiding the pills in Skittles bags.

That informant also learned that Melo was set to sail on a Royal Caribbean Groove Cruise ... in Skittles packets. Detectives arrested Melo at PortMiami as he was getting ready to board the ship.
