Costco members looking to make a last-minute grocery run on Veterans Day are in luck. The warehouse store will remain open despite it being a federal holiday. While its locations close on Memorial Day, Veterans Day is not one of the federal holidays the company normally observes.

Here’s when supermarkets and other retailers in the Sacramento area will be open for Veterans Day on Monday: Costco: 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Trader Joe’s: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Raley’s: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (some locations open until 11 p.m.) Safeway: 5 a.m. to midnight (some locations open until 2 a.m.)

As Thanksgiving approaches, Costco members in the U.S. face a unique challenge: all warehouse locations will be closed on November 28, 2024. This closure necessitates early shopping to ensure all holiday needs are met.
