Hintz was named the NHL’s second star of the week for games played from March 24-30, the league announced Monday.

The Stars are red-hot, and so is their top center, Roope Hintz. The 28-year-old is riding a four-game point streak, and he was named the NHL's Second Star of the Week for the week ending March 30th.

Hintz scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.

Hintz logged three assists, including one on the power play, and added two hits and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Oilers.
