Palantir would need to grow into a $6.7 trillion market cap to turn a $25,000 investment into $1 million. This would be its valuation if it grew to 40 times its size today. There isn't even a $4 trillion stock on the market today but in 20 or 30 years, it may be much more common to see stocks trading at these types of valuations.

Palantir (NASDAQ:PLTR) had a topsy-turvy week, yet its upward trajectory remained largely unaffected by the AI chatter surrounding DeepSeek.

Last year, the words "stock split" rang out across the market pretty often. Some of the world's biggest and most exciting companies across industries from tech giant Nvidia to top retailer Walmart and fast-casual chain Chipotle Mexican Grill launched these operations -- to the delight of investors.

Palantir Technologies (PLTR) remains one of the most compelling tech stocks today. As an artificial intelligence (AI) powerhouse, the company is recognized for its expertise in big data analytics and securing government contracts.

Karp has been hyping up the business, and that means expectations will be high for Palantir when it releases its results on Feb. 3. But even if it can deliver, that may not be enough to send the stock soaring.
