ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The First Alert Weather Team has declared Sunday, January 5, a First Alert Weather Day due to the elevated potential of damaging winds and a tornado or two.

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team has issued a Weather Alert Day for dangerously cold morning temperatures between Monday night and Thursday morning. Arctic air following Sunday and Monday's winter storm coupled with snow covered ground will make for some frigid mornings in Mid-Missouri through late week.
