The Edmonton Oilers took to the ice for practice today with an adjusted lineup after losing Connor McDavid to suspension, where once again, Skinner has been bumped to the fourth line.
After a wild schedule of road games and cross-country flights, the Edmonton Oilers kicked off their six-game home stand against Alex Ovechkin and the red-hot Washington Capitals.
They may be without defenceman Mattias Ekholm for the first time all season. Ekholm was absent at the Oilers' morning skate today, and head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters that he'll be a game-time decision for tonight's game.
