Nick Blankenburg scored the eventual game-winner as the Nashville Predators erased a four-goal deficit to defeat the visiting San Jose Sharks 7-5 on Tuesday night.

Filip Forsberg scored twice to extend his goals streak to seven games, Fedor Svechkov broke a tie on a power-play midway through the third period and the Nashville Predators beat the San Jose Sharks 6-5 on Thursday night for their fifth straight victory.

Sharks alternate captain Luke Kunin quickly dropped the gloves with Predators forward Cole Smith at the 6:54 mark. Right after the ensuing faceoff, Barclay Goodrow fought Nashville winger Michael McCarron at the 6:56 mark. Two seconds after the next faceoff, Ty Dellandrea had a quick scrap with Zachaery L’Heureux.

Steven Stamkos, Gustav Nyquist, and Tommy Novak scored for the Predators (18-22-7), who have won five straight. Brady Skjei had three assists, and Justus Annunen made 30 saves.

Filip Forsberg had two goals and two assists to lead the Nashville Predators to their third consecutive victory, 6-2 over the Minnesota Wild. Colton Sissons, Steven Stamkos, Fedor Svechkov and Brady Skjei also scored and Juuse Saros made 27 saves for the Predators.
