The only game the Wild have won with Gustavsson as the starter during that stretch was a comeback win over the St. Louis Blues, when he was pulled in favor of future Hall of Fame goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.

Gustavsson will get the starting nod at home against Edmonton on Wednesday, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.

The two teams have gone in opposite directions since that game. The Oilers, already on a roll when they blew Minnesota out in December, have been the best team in the league since that win, with an 11-3-1 record. The Wild, meanwhile, have gone 8-8-0 since December 12th, ravaged by injuries .
