"Star Trek" is set to have a banner year in 2025, with almost every iteration of the hit franchise available to stream on Paramount+. For any longtime or new Trekkie, Paramount+ is going to be an almost one-stop shop for an upcoming "Star Trek" binge.

Star Trek: Section 31 disappoints critics with underwhelming reviews despite Michelle Yeoh's return. Critics felt the movie was poorly executed, with bad acting, cringeworthy dialogue, and dated content. Despite the anticipation for a compelling plot exploring Section 31, fans were left disappointed by the film.

You can thank Michelle Yeoh for that major cameo in Star Trek: Section 31. As first heard, then finally seen at the end of the movie, Yeoh’s friend and Everything Everywhere All at Once costar Jamie Lee Curtis makes a cameo as Control.

It’s a fun vibe that gives the entire cast a chance to ham things up, but whenever Section 31 slows down to zoom in on Georgiou’s inner turmoil, you can sense how much more substance there could have been to these characters if they were fleshed out over the course of a series.

J.C. Brandy was 17 when she guest-starred on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Tapestry." Patrick Stewart was 52 during that episode. In the episode, their characters kiss and sleep together.
