Crunchyroll announced a new anime series adapted from Sucker Punch Productions’ popular “Ghost of Tsushima” video game.

Crunchyroll will be the exclusive home to a Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime series, based on the PlayStation game's multiplayer mode.

Rahul Purini, president of Crunchyroll, said in a news release that the Ghost of Tsushima anime “will offer fans an exciting new way to experience the game in an anime style that will be bold and groundbreaking.

Crunchyroll announced a new manga reader app on iOS and Android as a premium option for its members coming later this year.

The new 'Crunchyroll Manga' appears to be the anime streamer revamping a shuttered service it used to offer to members as a standalone app.

Sony subsidiary Crunchyroll will expand upon its anime streaming with a manga app, scheduled to release later this year. Announced at CES 2025, the service is described as a “premium add-on” to its existing offering,
