A Philadelphia police officer shot and killed a 47-year-old man in the Cobbs Creek section of the city Sunday evening, police said.Police identified the man as 47-year-old Jonathan Corbin in an update Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators have identified a man shot to death by Philadelphia police officers during a chase that stemmed from a domestic disturbance turned carjacking.

Corbin was killed after police responded to a domestic disturbance at a home on the 5400 Chancellor Street on Sunday night, police said.
