The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating an incident involving a plane at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, which one passenger described as a rough landing that sparked flames.

The Halifax airport was closed for about 90 minutes Saturday night after a plane arriving from St. John's experienced a problem landing, which saw the plane skid down the runway and part of it catch fire.

An Air Canada Express flight with 73 passengers aboard caught fire and had to be evacuated on a runway after landing in Halifax.
