Police say Luis Valentine abducted 2-year-old girl Camila Guzman in Fort Myers and fled to Cape Coral. Officials tell Fox 4 the man is the child's mother's ex-boyfriend.

Cape Coral Police Department and Lee County Sheriff’s Office are assisting Fort Myers Police Department in the search for 2-year-old Camila Guzman, who was abducted in Fort Myers.

According to the alert, Camila Guzman went missing earlier in the day from the area around Deleon Street, south of Colonial Boulevard, in Fort Myers. At the time, she was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt and black pants. After she disappeared, Camila may have been seen on Southeast 5th Avenue, in Cape Coral.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – An Amber Alert was issued Monday for a 2-year-old white-Hispanic girl missing out of Lee County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Camila Guzman was last seen in the area of the 4600 block of Deleon Street in Fort Myers.
