On April 2 the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued a severe weather outlook that is typically only issued two to three times per yer. The Weather Channel issued a warning for parts of the Midwest and South where a tornado outbreak is expected through Wednesday night.

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) - Residents in Scioto County woke up overnight to a tornado warning. Brad Broughton says around 3 a.m. Thursday, he heard a loud crashing noise and felt his whole house shaking. Strong winds blew his carport away from his home and onto Ridge Lane in Lucasville.
