Taking the idea of work-life balance to extremes, the sardonic and surrealist thriller “Severance” on Apple TV+ envisions a dystopian corporate world in which employees of a company called Lumon Industries have a chip implanted in their brains that severs their memory in two.

Nearly three years after one of the most aggressive cliffhangers in recent memory, the mysterious Apple series is about to flip the switch again and finally answer the fates of the core characters.

The employees can choose to undergo a “severance” procedure, which means that outside the walls of Lumon, they cannot remember their work day, and when they’re at work, they cannot remember their outside lives.

Since it debuted on Apple TV+ in 2022, we’ve been patiently waiting for the return of the show for Season 2 and now it’s finally here. But maybe you didn’t watch Season 1 when it premiered.
