Despite having both Joel Embiid and Paul George on the court, the Philadelphia 76ers failed to score a hundred points as they lost 111-99 against the New York Knicks. The result leaves them with a 2-8 record. It was George's best performance in a Sixers uniform so far. He scored 29 points, had 10 rebounds and 3 assists in 32 minutes.

Joel Embiid is expected to make his season debut Tuesday night for the Philadelphia 76ers. Embiid has not played this season because of what the Sixers called left knee management.
