A Pender County family has filed a federal lawsuit against local county governments and several law enforcement officials following a botched SWAT team raid last April.

A couple from nearby Willard filed a civil rights lawsuit in federal court Wednesday after their home was raided and ransacked by the Pender and Lee county sheriffs’ offices last year.
