The Lakers’ game with the San Antonio Spurs scheduled for Saturday night in Los Angeles has been postponed by the NBA because of wildfires in the Los Angeles area. The NBA also postponed the Clippers’ game with Charlotte at Intuit Dome in Inglewood.

The NHL’s Los Angeles Kings were the first to act, scrapping a scheduled Wednesday night game vs. the Calgary Flames at Crypto.com Arena. The Lakers of the NBA followed suit on Thursday, postponing a matchup with the Charlotte Hornets; makeup dates for the two contests haven’t been determined yet.

The Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers are postponing their home games on Saturday as a result of the ongoing fires in the greater Los Angeles area.
