The U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration announced on April 14 that South Bow restarted the pipeline at a reduced pressure.

The operator of the Keystone oil pipeline brought the conduit back into service, putting an end to a week-long outage caused by an estimated 3,500-barrel spill in rural North Dakota.

A spokesperson for management company South Bow said personnel recovered 700 barrels, or about 20% of the spilled product, as of Thursday.
