Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have finally parted ways after a series of unfortunate events this season. The disgruntled star had expressed his interest in a trade multiple times throughout this season and had become a problem in the locker room.

The ink is not even dry yet on the trade sending Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors, but the Miami Heat are already scrubbing any leftover traces of him.

They are trading him to the Golden State Warriors, who are sending out Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schröder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick in the deal. It happened before the latter’s game in Salt Lake City against the Utah Jazz, as Steve Kerr closed off the locker room to address the team.
