Twins shortstop Carlos Correa left Tuesday's game against the Mets in the fifth inning because of left wrist soreness.

The Minnesota Twins will place right fielder Matt Wallner on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring.

The Twins already have enough trouble scoring runs, and they lost Matt Wallner, one of their best-performing hitters, to a hamstring injury in the first inning Tuesday. Wallner took a check swing on a fastball in a 3-0 count and reached on an infield single when he beat out a throw from New York Mets third baseman Mark Vientos.
