Oilers left winger Zach Hyman released a statement after the OHL Board of Governors approved a transfer of ownership of the Brantford Bulldogs to him and his family.

Zach Hyman will be the President and Governor of the OHL’s Brantford Bulldogs, while his father will be CEO and brother Spencer the COO. Zach Hyman spoke about buying the major junior team and the family’s commitment to the city.

Zach Hyman is not planning a career change anytime soon, but the Edmonton Oilers forward felt purchasing the Brantford Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League was a good decision for him and his family.
