A host of big-name performers including Kid Rock and country singer Jason Aldean will be making their way to Washington, D.C., to perform at various presidential inauguration events over the weekend.

A surprise musical guest is also slated to join previously announced acts Carrie Underwood and the Village People

Longtime Donald Trump supporter, Kid Rock, will be one of the performers during various presidential inauguration weekend events, according to the Associated Press.

"Texas Was You" is an odd duck on the My Kinda Party album. Vocally, Jason Aldean is caught between styles for much of the song, but lyrically it's a strong story. The singer took risks on album cuts, and not all worked. This one does at the end of the day. The uptempo track is a pleasant surprise if you've only listened to his greatest hits.
