Donald Trump delivered an inaugural address that set aside the typical optimism and promises of unity with a dark portrait of national life.

Washington, D.C., will experience a high of 21 degrees and a low of 11 degrees around noon when the inauguration is set to begin.

President-elect Donald Trump is slated to have one of the coldest Inauguration Days in 40 years, according to CNN. The outlet reports that when Trump swears-in on Jan. 20 at noon, the temperature is expected to be in the low-20s (around 20 degrees below normal) with winds reaching 10 to 20 mph.

The official portraits of US President-elect Donald Trump and his second-in-command JD Vance have been released ahead of their inauguration on Monday. Both Trump and Vance are pictured in blue suits, white collared shirts and blue ties, with Trump wearing a small US flag pin on his lapel.

"And they go hard," a press release from the transition said about the portraits. The statement added, "In just four days, Donald J. Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States and JD Vance as the 50th Vice President of the United States — and their official portraits are here.
