In response to growing concerns over illegal migrants including Bangladeshi nationals in the capital, Delhi Police have ramped up efforts to identify and deport individuals residing without valid documents.

Delhi Police have intensified efforts to address concerns over undocumented migrants following a December 10 order from the L-G secretariat.

The Delhi Police on Sunday, December 29 deported eight Bangladeshi nationals who had been residing illegally in the Rangpuri area of the national capital.

In a bid to address rising concerns over the unauthorized stay of migrants, the Delhi Police have been carrying out a series of targeted operations, including verification drives, and joint inspections across the South-West district.

Mulla is the second person to face deportation two weeks after the L-G Secretariat in Delhi directed that a special drive be launched to identify and act against “illegal immigrants from Bangladesh” staying in the Capital.
