After serving 10 years of a 292-year sentence for nonviolent offenses, Atdom Patsalis was released from prison on Sept. 19.

Thanks to a rare clemency approval, a man sentenced to almost 300 years for a string of nonviolent thefts walked free Thursday after Gov. Katie Hobbs granted his request for clemency.

Saul Bal, who is facing murder charges for the death of Phoenix Officer Zane Coolidge, was scheduled to appear in Maricopa County Superior Court on Friday morning. However, Bal reportedly refused transport to the courthouse. Little Fork in the Road Cafe, located outside Sunrise Park Resort, is a perfect place to grab breakfast or lunch.

The sentence was handed down after his conviction for his involvement as a high-level member of criminal organizations that stole numerous vehicles and committed a series of burglaries in Colorado from 2020-2023.
