An iceberg the size of Chicago broke off am Antarctic ice shelf to reveal a thriving ecosystem underneath, according to researchers.

Scientists have determined that at least six new aquatic species have been thriving under an Antarctic ice shelf.

Scientists found a rich community of fish, coral, octopus, anemones and sponges that previously sat beneath a sheet of ice 150 metres thick.
